Marguerite Dubois (Rita) - After a successful career as an asylum nurse working and a brief stint as an asylum patient, Marguerite turned her invention, a miniaturization machine, to more entertaining purposes - shrinking exotic animals to a pocket-sized side show act.
Alexandra Arista ("Alex", Alexandra Lupei) - Gifted with a mysterious Second Sight, she fled an arranged marriage in her Romanian village to sew or mend costumes and tell fortunes with Vapeur.
Asmodeus Prodigious (Asmodeus Brazier) - Formerly of the British military, Asmodeus turned his talent for tinkering into an act of impressive mechanical magic tricks, along with good old-fashioned slight of hand and a talent for relieving people of their purses.
